Setup, common questions, and how to reach a human.
Stuck right now? Email support@robotarmy.com — we read every message. This is beta software: back up your contacts before you start (below).
Install Apple's TestFlight app, then open the public beta link on your phone or iPad. Allow access to your contacts when asked. Back up first, the same as on the Mac. The iPhone app doesn't read notes.
The app needs permission to control Contacts. Turn it on in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Automation, under Extraordinary Contacts.
Select them in the list (⌘A selects everything a search shows) and drag them onto the account in the sidebar. Hold Option to copy instead of move. A move sends their cards in other accounts to the Trash first, so you can undo it.
Open Trash in the sidebar and restore them. Each card goes back to the account it came from, note included.
Not with one click. The merged person keeps every phone, email and photo you ticked, and every photo is kept in their photos, but merging is meant to be final. Merge with care, and keep that backup.
Yes. ↑ and ↓ move through the list, even from the search field. → and ← move between the sidebar, the headings, the list and the contact. Inside a contact, ↑ and ↓ move between fields and Return edits the one highlighted.
The contact photo is in your address book, as always. Every other photo is in your iCloud Drive, in the Extraordinary Contacts folder, one folder per person.
Choose Help ▸ Show App Log, and attach that file to an email to support@robotarmy.com with what you were doing. The log stays on your Mac unless you send it.
